Enterprise Infrastructure Services

Infrastructure engineering for enterprise IT teams: migrations, disaster recovery, automation, assessments and engineers who join your team. Planned in detail, run under your change process, tested with a rollback ready, and documented for the team that runs it next.

Large environments fail in predictable places: the dependency nobody mapped, the DR plan that was never tested, the manual change made at 2 a.m. without a rollback, the platform only one engineer understands. Our enterprise work is built around closing those gaps. We work inside your change control, ticketing and maintenance windows, and every engagement ends with scripts, runbooks and documentation your team can own.

That experience covers environments of several thousand VMs, across Fortune 500 companies, finance, insurance, healthcare, government, the military and education. Client and employer names are never published.

What we do for enterprise teams

Assessments

Many engagements start with an assessment: a fixed-scope review that tells you where you stand and what to do next, in priority order, with the evidence behind each finding.

  • vSphere and VCF health checks: configuration, capacity, patch levels, HA and DRS settings and performance. See VMware vSphere & VCF.
  • vSAN design reviews: storage policies, failure scenarios, witness placement and ESA or OSA fit. See vSAN & stretched cluster design.
  • DR readiness: RTO and RPO by application, replication coverage, runbooks and the last real test. See disaster recovery.
  • Broadcom licensing and platform reviews: what the new licensing costs you, and whether to stay, change edition or move. See VMware Broadcom transition.
  • Compliance readiness: infrastructure controls and evidence for HIPAA, PCI DSS and CMMC, and answers for cyber-insurance questionnaires.
  • Migration readiness: inventory, dependency mapping and a wave plan before anything moves. See migration.

Ways to engage

  • Projects: a defined scope, timeline and set of deliverables, such as a migration, a platform build or upgrade, or a DR implementation.
  • Assessments: fixed-scope reviews with written findings and a prioritized plan.
  • Staff augmentation: experienced engineers who join your team for weeks or months. We can field a team of up to five engineers.
  • Managed and co-managed operations: ongoing care of a platform alongside your team, with support hours and response times agreed up front in the service agreement.

Engagements can be hourly, prepaid blocks of hours, monthly or fixed-scope. Contact us for a quote.

How we work on enterprise infrastructure

  • Discovery before change: we inventory the estate, map dependencies with application owners and agree what "done" means before anything moves.
  • A rollback for every step: each wave, upgrade or cutover has go/no-go criteria and a rollback that has been walked through, not just written down.
  • Your change process, your tools: we work inside your change control and ticketing, and leave scripts and runbooks your team can own.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work on VMware?

No. VMware is a large part of our enterprise work, but we also work with Hyper-V, Nutanix, Proxmox, Azure, AWS, Citrix, Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop, and with the automation, backup and DR tools around them.

Can you work inside our change control and security policies?

Yes. We use your ticketing system, attend your change advisory board, follow your maintenance windows and access policies, and document every change in the form your team expects.

Do you work on-site?

We work remotely across the United States, on-site in the Black Hills and South Dakota area, and on-site elsewhere by arrangement.

How big a team can you provide?

For larger engagements and staff augmentation we can field a team of up to five engineers.
